Lanterns of the Hollow
Lanterns of the Hollow is the game I keep recommending to people who don't think they like mobile games. It's a slow, atmospheric adventure: you wander a hand-drawn town, talk to its odd residents, and solve gentle environmental puzzles that unlock more of the map.
There's no fail state and no timer, which suits the tone perfectly. Tapping to move and interact feels natural, and the puzzle hints are there if you want them but never forced on you. The art and the ambient sound design pulled me in completely — I played most of it with headphones on.
It's not long, maybe six or seven hours, but every part of it feels intentional. Battery use is low because it's a calm, mostly static experience. If you want something to unwind with, this is an easy pick.
